Individual plant logistics as the foundation for automation
The Oval Plant Carrier is an essential component within the Plant Order System, designed for stable, individual transport of potted plants. Each plant moves independently, with tail lengths available in multiple sizes to create proper spacing and prevent plant damage.
The carrier is suitable for standard potted plants as well as plants grown in a Plant Growth Cell. An RFID chip located beneath the carrier stores the unique plant ID and related data within the Order Control Software.
Durable design for long-term use
An integrated lifting mechanism separates the carrier from the conveyor belt, reducing friction and wear. Inserts are available in various sizes to match different pot dimensions, making the carrier flexible across crops and cultivation types.
OPD Cleaner, Automated cleaning for a closed-loop system
The OPD cleaner is an integrated component of the Plant Order System that supports a closed-loop logistics process. Empty Oval Plant Carriers released after processing are automatically transported to the cleaning station.
Carriers are efficiently emptied, cleaned, and returned to the beginning of the system for immediate reuse. This eliminates manual cleaning, reduces labor, and maintains consistent quality throughout the logistics process.
